Flame Arrestors
Flame Arrestors are safety devices that
allow flow of combustible gases while
preventing ignition. The Flame Arrestor
prevents the flame from transferring to a
different area of a device by cooling or
quenching a flame front or dampening a
combustible wave. Our Flame Arrestors are
designed to absorb and dissipate the heat of
a flame for specific operating and flow
conditions.
Types
:-
There are mainly two types of Flame
Arrestors.
1) End of line flame arrestor : mainly used
in preventing fire in the atmosphere from
entering an enclosure.
2) In-line flame arrestor : mainly used in
systems which collect gases omitted by
liquids and solids. |
